There is an epidemic in Baltimore that affects us all where we live, work and play. This epidemic is rarely spoken about, and when it is, many times it is associated with stigma and disgrace instead of love, hope, healing and encouragement. This epidemic infects 1 in 40 people in the city of Baltimore, and where we worship, it infects 1 in 18 people. Even if you aren’t infected, you are affected. This is the epidemic of HIV. God has called us to stand united to provide hope and healing to those infected with HIV and to learn how we, as a Church, can make a huge impact in Getting to ZERO: ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO AIDS related deaths, and ZERO discrimination.
Please join us at Faith Theological Seminary August 1st and 2nd for a dynamic training called THE JOURNEY, where we will go through an HIV101 and learn about how we are called to respond in Christ, as we partner with HopeSprings and local churches in our neighborhood to GET TO ZERO. Training will be from 6:30-9:30pm on Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday.
